[FROM OUR OWN CORBESrONnENT.] September 20, 1901, The usual bi-monthly sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was hold to-day before Messrs S. Johnson and J. C. Taylor, Justices. There were 45 cases on the cause list; of these 14 were struck out, 13 enlarged or adjourned, and 12 were paid. Judgment was given for plaintiffs in the following esses:—Waipawa County Council v. J. G. Beatty, J22 19a, with 12s coats; same v. T. Sullivan, ”.£lO 9s 2d, with loa coats; same v. A.' Olsen, costs 9s; A. Breuer v. Arapeta Meha, £1 12s, with 5s costa. Two judgment summonses had been paid into Court. The Loyal Abbotsford Lodge hold their quarterly meeting last night, when n.P.G.M. Bro Chambers, together with several members of the neighboring lodges, paid a visit. It waa decided to hold a meeting of P.Q.’s on the 2?rd October, when it is proposed to suggest the formation of a P G. Lodge. After the lodge business waa concluded the members indulged in a couple of hours’ harmony, and a pleasant evening was spent.
