THE NEW ZEALANDERS.
[bt telegraph.] Wellington, Monday. The Premier has received a cable message from the officer commanding the Mew Zealand Regiment at Coatriel-prnit, stating that Captain Jackson and 23 men of his squadron. Captains Abbott and Tucker, Lieutenants bimpson and Batger, and ten men, a 1 of the Fifth Contingent, are desirous of continuing on service with the Mew Zealand forces in South Africa. Lieutenant French baa asked for leave to go to England on the return of his regiment. Lord Kitchener in a cablegram to the Governor, dated Pretoria, Slat March, stated that the Second and Third New Zealand Contingents would leave South Africa by the aa. Tongariro to-day.
