WAIPAWA.
[fkom oub own corbespondbnt.] December 28, 1900. The annual meeting of the Loyal Abbotßford Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held last night, when the P.G.M., Bro. D. M'lntyre, and P.C.S., Bro. J. B. Fielder, paid an official visit. After the routine business of the lodge was transacted and three new members proposed, the P.G.M. installed the newly-elected officers, Bro. D. Uamlin as G.M., Bro. A. E. King as N.G., and Bro. A. E Gollett as V.G. At the conclusion of the lodge the members adjourned to tho stage of the hall, where a very nice supper was spread. N.G. Uro. KiDg occupiod the chair, and was supported by the district officers. There were also present visiting brethren from the Loyal Kuahine and Loyal Stratford Lodg's, and Bro. J. Cosgrove, of the Hiburnian Order. Tho toasts of "The Queen," "The Hawke's Bay District," ' Th» Visitors," " The Abbotsford Lodge," 'Absent Brothers at the Front," and " Old Members " were duly honored, and 3ongs, recitations, and instrumental music passod the time till nearly 1 o'clock, when 'Auld Lang Syne" conoluded a very anjoyablo evening.
