THE PEEMIER'S VIEW. ENDING OF THE EXHIBITION TEUCE. DANaEBS TO THE REPUBLIC. Eeooivod October 29, 10.42 p.m. Pabis, October 29. M. Waldeok-Bcsseau, Premier, in an impressive speech at Toulouse, olaimed that the Government had re-establißhed peace, order, and justice, and restored the army wholly to the national mission. He justified the olemency to Dreyfus, and promised a law of eflacement, assuring a final appeasement. The Premier said that numerous dangers assailed the Republic now the Paris Exhibition truce was ended. He advooated Republican action, and indicated that the Government would sternly repreßa the efforts of religious associations to usurp the authority of the State. He promised workmen's pensions. The speech was greeted with applause.
