ONGA ONGA
[FBOM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT,] June 15, 1900. At a meeting of the hall committee held the other evening it -was decided to open the new hall on Wednesday, 4th July, with a concert and dance. The Waipawa Dramatio Club have consented to play "Withered Leaves" as a part of the concert programme. I understand two or three more of the sections of the Fairfield estate have been sold. At the timijer sale held here on Monday the majority of the lots offered were disposed of at satisfactory prices. The Waipawa Football Club paid us a visit on Wednesday and were defeated by the local olub, the result being Onga Onga VJ points, Waipawa 5 points.
A GOOD CHAEACTEE. Pear's Soap is pure, delightful, tiag>rant, and refreshing.
