GARRISON OF KUMASSI. PERILOUS POSITION. Beceived June 15, 10.1 0 a.m. •London, Jano 14, Major A. H. Morris, of the Gold Coast Constabulary, with 700 native troops marched from the north and entered Kumassi, and with the assistance of the garrison is now acting on the defensive. A great deficiency in the rations and ammunition exists. The Governor and his wife were reported safe on the 4th inst. Captain Maguire, of the local Kumassi forces, is dead, and Major Morris has been wounded.
