[FBOM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT. J June 14, 1900. The annual meeting of the Heretaunga Lodge was held last night, when there was a large attendance of the members and of visitors from the Napier and other lodges. Amongst the visitors was Fast Grand Seoretary Bro. Eonaldson, Otago Grand Superintendent, who aoted as Grand Direotor of Ceremonies. Bro. Beilby was also present. The following officers were installed and invested for the year 1900 :— I.W.M., Bro. George Land; 1.P.M., Bro. F. Cook ; S. W., Bro. K. Shaw ; J.W., Bro. W. A. Carter ; treasurer, Bro. D. M'Leod, P.M. ; seoretary, Bro. W. G. Martin, P.M. ; organist, Bro. H. H. Hunt ; S.D., Bro. J. B. Hird ; 1.D., Bro. A. L. 0. Fraser ; 1.G., Bro. B. Lys ; tyler, Bro. B. Chudiey. After the lodge was olosed a

most enjoyable time was spent in the refeotorium, when the following toasts were dealt with:— "The Queen and Craft," " Grand Lodge," responded to by Bros. Beilby and Eonaldsonj "The W.M.," proposed by LP.M. Bro. Cook; "The Visitors," proposed by Bro. Tyerman, responded to by Bro. Lucas ; " The 1.P.M.," proposed by P.M. Bro. M'Leod j " The Newly-invested Officers," proposed by P.M. Bro. Wellwood; "Brothers at the Front," proposed by Bro. A. L. D. Fra9er, responded to by Bro. Merewether ; "Heretaunga Lodge," proposed by P.M. Bro. S. Freeman, responded to by Bro. Martin, P.M. Songs were contributed by Bros. Simpson, Lound, Knight, Steevens, Hardy, Beilby, Martin, Land, and Hunt, and a recitation by Bro. Clarke.
