OLLIVIBr' KILLED. ANOTHER COMMANDANT WOUNDED. Bcooived Julio 1!!, 9.5 a.m. London, June 12. Kruger has proclaimed Machadorp the new capital of the Transvaal. The majority of the inhabitants are living in tents. Daring an engagement at Kooikrantz Commandant OUivier was killed and Commandant Villiers mortally wounded. The British troops entering Pretoria shelled the train which got away with a batch of the British prisoners to Nooigodaoht, believing it to contain fugitive Boers.
Lieutenant Cecil Lamb, of the Australian Artillery, has been appointed Assistant Commissioner at Jagersfontein. The Victorian corps known as the Cameron Scouts have been Bent to Marandellas. Majors Owen and Bridges, of New South Wales, who have been invalided to England, are convalescent.
