TRAINING NOTES.
[Bt "Tout."] Hastings, Tuesday. Aeain this morning saw a large number Of onlookers to watoh the different horses berne put through their faoinga. The tracks «we a trifle better than yesterday. There was not much jumping this morning. Tatarainoa (C. Mitchell) and Blackberry (J. Bedmoud) jumped the country very nicely together over a couple of rounds. Kauri Gum (P. Kaynor) and Chance (T. Connop) also put in a couple of rounds over the country. Chance fell at the sod wall the first time over, but he slipped into it. He jumped very well afterwards. Cora Linn and Bonnie d'Eau galloped one and a quarter miles in company, with light weights up. They shaped very well, Jfd finished together. Ooeur de Lion and Mystify covered once round, the eneatnuc having the best of the go. The Weaver, Sirocco, and Donovan were also sent together over one oircmt at top, the first-named finishing the best, Donovan being beaten off. The following horses did slow wort :— Tusrela, Sylvanus, Kuamahunga, Apremete, Halcyon, K Jam, Mercury, Carnival, Euby, Tally-ho, Coolgardie, The Miner, and Puketoi. Daphne, alone, galloped once round finishing up very strongly. Blank and Waihau were tried together over one and a quarter mile, the first-named having all the best of the gallop.
