SPLIT IN THE CABINET. .CRISIS IMMINENT. QUESTION OE ANNEXATION. Deceived Juno 12, 1 a.m. Cape Town, June 11. The majority of the Afrikander BonditesintheCape Assembly resist tbeannexatioc&f the Republics and compensation to loyalists. A orisia is imminent. Mr Schreiner, Premier, has summoned the Bonditesto discuss frankly whether they will second his loyal endeavors to fulfil his duty to the Crown. He denounced as disloyal the useless agitation of the extremists. Mr A. 3. Herholdt (Secretary for Agriculture), supported the loyal attitude of Mi Sohreiner and Mr R. • Solomon, Attorney - General, while Messrs Saver [Commissioner for Public Works), Merriman (Colonial Treasurer), Te Water, M.L.A., and Hofmeyr, the other memiers of the Ministry, bitterly resisted.
