It ia feared that the Boers intend to shoot -Mr Robertson, a friend of Cecil Rhodes, who waa arrested on a charge of recruiting on .behalf of the British. Robertson asserts that he was merely seeking assistance in removing women and children from the Band, and declares that Mb action in doing this was mis- ■=• understood.
