fPEE UNITED PRES3 ASSOCIATION.! Auckland, Friday. Hitni Kiinihara, aged 17, a mail carrier, was drowned in crossing the Waihou river at Hokianga during a fresh. The body of the lad was found afterwards in the bod of the river, also his horse, drowned. It was Baddled and bridled. Dunedin, Friday. At the Police Court to-day four men named Patrick M'Callion, John Taylor, William Herbert, and Edward Dormer were committed for triul for assault with intent to commit iiorimu on awoiuan.
