fBY TELEGBAPH.J Wellington, Friday. The Wellington Kennel Club's show is on all hands admitted to be one of the best held in the history of the club. The internal arrangements are perfect, and the hon. secretary (Mr A. W. Stevens) upon whom the greater part of the work has fallen, is unanimously congratulated upon the result of his labors, i Mr Coupe, of Melbourne, who acted as • judge, expressed surprise at the growth r in the quality of the doga on exhibition. J Collies make the strongest class in the a exhibition. '• Mrs L. Caselberg, Wellington, 'won the New Zealand Collie Club's ladies' challenge trophy for the best colile in the ' show with the handsome dog Major. I The two gold medals awarded if by the New Zealand Collie Club c were won respectively by Mrs Still, Palmerston North, with Rotare Scotie a and Mr H. Alexander, Petone, with * Nellie. Mrs Still also won tho N. 7,. Times J 1 Company's silver collar for collie doga. i Mr R. Triggs, Wellington, won the chami" pionship in fox terriers, with Dusky , Delicia, and Mr R. M'Culloch, Waipawa, the championship in Irish terriers, witb Waipawa Con, Mr G. W. Gaudin, Wei F Hngton, the championship in ooekei Spaniels, with Bonnie Laddie, and Mrs C Stubbs, Wellington, the ohampionßhip ii JS collie bitohes, with St. Cecilia.
