Second Day. [by telegraph.} Welltnoton, Monday. The Wellington Eaoing Club again enjoyed beautiful weather for the meeting, and between 5000 and 6000 were present. The racing was again of the best. The fight between Daunt, the Cup winner, and Explosion was worth going a long way to witne3s. The old system of working the totalisators was resorted to, and its reinstatement was much appreciated by the public. Titoki raced with Tupuhi to the load, where Brisa joined issue, and Ideal could be seen on the inside making up lost ground, Tupuhi was first to cry go, and then Brisa took charge, with Ideal close on to her quarter?.
