BANQUET TO THE I TON. J. M'KENZIE.
fDT TELBGBAPH.] Dunedin, Friday. At a meeting of the friends of the Hon. J. M'Konzie, held at Palmerston, to take steps to present him with an address, accompanied by some gift that will show the eateem felt for his unselfish labors on the eve of hiß visit to the Home country, it was decided to entertain the Minister and colleagues and friends at a banquet, and a committee was appointed to make arrangements. This committee will probably recommend that subsriptiorm be limited to one shilling, and that it be made general throughout the colony.
