The Gordon College fund has reached J5128,000, of which ,£IOO,OOO was subscribed in England.
In his appeal Lord Kitchener asked for .£1.00,000, which he stated would be sufficient to set the College at Khartoum on a firm footing, with efficient teachers for the native races whose interests Britain now had to conserve.
