MINING SCANDAL IN BRITISH COLUMBIA.
Eeceived January ] 9, 8.50 a.m. Montreal, January 18. Some time ago revelations were made with regard to the connection of the Premier of British Columbia with a, gold, mining syndicate, and also with respect to the conduct of some supporters of his in the Legislative Council, whp used their position to effect Government contracts in which they were interested. It is now announced that sue of these members of the Legislature have resigned their positions.
