Received January 18, 9.15 ii.m. London, January 11. A cargo of South Australian wheat sold at 28s 4id. The seventh series of colonial wool sales opened to-day. Competition was brisk as compared with the closing sales of last series. Prices showed a general advance of five percent. Received January 13, 11.50 i>.m. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2.350,000 quarters, and for the Continent 990,000 quarters.
