PROJECTED DEPARTURES.
Mokoia, s.s., for Wellington and Southern ' ports, to-day. Elingamite, s.s., for Northern ports and Sydney, January 20th. Omapere, 5.8., for Wellington, January '21st. ...... The s.s. Weka returned from Gisborne ■ and the coast on Tuesday night with a quantity of wool. The Weka then loaded up meat for the Star of Victoria. The Tyser Company's s.s. Star of Victoria arrived at the anchorage yesterday morning from Gisborne, and at once commenced .the worfc. of loading. She is expected to remain here till Monday next, and then to Wellington to take in a - shipment of batter, &c, prior to leaving for London. . ■ The's.s. Te Kapu steamed for Wairoa yesterday morning. The Union Company's fine steamer ' Mokoia arrives at the breakwater this morning early from Northern ports and Sydney. She brings about 80 tons cargo, and is advertised to leave for Wellington and Southern ports at 2 p.m. Captain Douglas has sold the barque Empreza to Messrs Craig and Nicol, of V_ Auckland. She will be retained in the intercolonial trade. The best trip made for some years past between New Tork and Auckland is credited to the barque Peru, which arrived at the Northern port on Thurs- • ■ day last, after a passage of 91 days. ' Favorable winds' and weather prevailed almost throughout.
