THE PACIFIC SERVICE.
Received January 18, 1 a.m. Ottawa, January 17. Mr Van Home, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, speaking at Quebec, advocated a 22 and 24 knot steam service with England, and said that thereafter the Canadian Pacific Company would doubln its Pacific service with a vessel weekly, either to China or Australia.
