«: Mr S. H. Gollan won another race with Norton. On November 19th, when the New Zealand chestnut took the Ditchling Steeplechase of 40 sots, 3 miles, at Plumpton, Sussex. Norton carried 13sfc, and had James Hiokey in the saddle. He beat his three opponents in a canter, Starting favorite at 11 to 8 on.
