[BT TELKGBAI'H.] iNVERCARciiiiii, Friday. The first movement in the Old Age Pensions scheme was made horo to-day, Mr Poynton, S.M., setting up a Court in the Old Men's Home for the convenience of infirm inmates, of whom 37 wore applicants. Thirty-four established their claims, one was postponed, and two rejected. Of those latter one was an Italian and the other a native of the United States, neither of whom were naturalised. The latter had been in the colony 43 years, and the Magistrate expressed re^rtet that he could not treat him as a Urifcish subiect.

Our baby baa been continually troubled with colic and cholera infantum sinco his birth, and all that we could do for him did not seem to give him more than temporary relief, until we gave him Cbatnborlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhmn Bemedy. Since giving that remedy he has not been troubled. We want to give you this testimonial as an evidence of oui gratitude, not that you need it to advor. tise your meritorious Romci'y. — 0.
