THREATENING LETTERS.
Auckland, Thursday. It is stated that a certain member of the City Council and the Mayor have received anonymous letters couched in threatening terms^ and with a warning of divers pains and penalties if they vote for certahi resolutions and proposed measures of municipal reforms.
