SUSPENSION OF AN OTAGO REP. [bst telegraph.] ' Dunedin, Tuesday. • At the adjourned meeting of the committee of the Cricket Association it, was decided to suspend A. Downes for one calendar month for insulting behaviour to A. E. Harraway, umpire, who noballed Downes' brother. This means that Downes will not be able to play against Canterbury, and will militate against any chance of his being included in the New Zealand team.
