[BT TELEGRAPH.] Inveboarqi&l, Tuesday. The Southland Metropolitan sho opened to-day. Officer took both chan; pionships for Polled Angus ; the JPiv Rivers Estate had the best of the fa , n beasts shown. In Lincoln sheep Mr J. I j 8 Sutton took all the awards; Borde Leicester champion ram Mr J. M'Crostie re Border Leicester ewe, Messrs M'Keroba ,y Brothers ; Eomney Marsh ohampion raw Mr J. B. Logan j Romney Marsh ew« Hon. W. Holmes j the Shropshire award all went to Messrs G. Eeid and Sons ■ v Cheviot champion ram and ewe, Messr '• Kealder and Awdry; the Hon. W P Holmes was the only exhibitor in oross ■ r breds. >r
