THE CALLIOPE DOCK.
Auckland, Tuesday. At a meeting of the Harbor Board a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr J. H. Witheford for bis exertions with the Admiralty to get the Calliope dock equipped as a second naval base for the Australasian squadron in the South Seas.
