DECLINE TO APOLOGISE.
Eeceivod December 13, 9.20 a.m. Bangkok, Decembor 12. The Siamese authorities here, called upon to apologise for so-called "sacrilege" in connection with the Frenoh ohurch, have refused to do so. It appears that the Siamese officials had reason to believe that some illicit spirits were concealed in the church, with a view to defraud the Customs, and caused the building to be searched. The French residents of Bangkok insinuate that Great Britain inspired the Siamese to commit the outrage.
