DEAN HOVELL'S BIBLE CLASSES.
The annual distribution of prizes to the children attending Dean Hovell's Bible classes in the Napier district school took place yesterday afternoon. It had been originally intended to assemble the young people for the aforesaid purpose in the Deanery garden, but owing to the downpour of rain use was made of the Cathedral schoolroom. The Dean having addressed the children, distributed the awards as follows : — Standard Vlll.— Alice Eauzi, Ethel Mahon. Standard Vll.— Olive Dugleby, Mary Teychenne, Ina Dugleby, Nellie Taylor. Standard Vl.— Alice Lydford, Rose Lydford. Standard V. — May Robinson, Rose Ashton, Annie Amner, Lily Thomson, May Aston, Eva Taylor. Standard IV. — Alexander Briden, Emmeline Kerr, Phcebe Jones, Rose Stephens, Mary Bower, Lillio Stephens, May Brown, Minnie Rauzi, Alice Hainshar, Georgio Lascelles. Standard lll— Julia Briden, W. Teychenne, Louie Smith, Clara Ashton, Alice Briden, Louie Colwill. Standard II. — Mildred Ashton, Annie Crocker, Freda Hamshar. Standard I. — Edith Stephens, Eva Briden, Lily Martin. Infantß. — Florie Briden.
