A SUGGESTION.
Sir, — I understand one of our leading firms is about to erect a large warehouse and commodious offices on the vacant section at the Spit opposite the Postoffice and fronting Wenley and Lanauze's wool storeß. Now, Sir, I would like to draw, the attention of the Borough Council to the fact that Waghorne-street at this particular spot is very narrow, and quite unable to cope with tho ordinary traffic. I would suggest before it is too late that the Borough Council insist on the new building being put back sufficiently to allow the rapidly-increasing traffic at this part beiDg properly carried out. Perhaps the member of the North Ward will bestir themselves.— l am, &c, Advance Napiek. November 22nd, 1898.
