Mr Gapea, the defendant, olalmed to be a strictly non-union shop, and did not reoopntee the Union In any way. It was proved In evidence, howover, that he had been president of the Master Painters' AssoolatloD, and as that association had tlgned the agreement with the workers 1 noioD, the Court held he was morally bound by the acts of bis association, and shonld be bound by lti obligations. This award was olio praotlcally In the terms of tbe lecommendatlona of the Board of Conciliation, and no ooata were allowed.
