Sydnky, Friday. The report of the Royal Commission appointed to loqalre Into an extension of tbe railway through the olty haa been tabled. It favors the extension for the conveyance of psssoDgers bat not for Roods traffio, end recommends tbe extension of the railway throngh Hyde Park, with a terminal station fronting St. James's road. Ten Bores of the park are to be utilised, In exchange for whloh It la proposed that tbe old Devonshire-street cemetery be converted Into ft park, the cost to be met oat of the £100,000 to be paid to the commissioners an oompensatton. The report does not favor an extension of the railway right to Circular Quay.
