Taylor* has been declared third on ttie poll, replacing Mr Collins, who wao telegraphed as filling that position. Additional returna to hand for tbe Hawke's Bay Beat show the polling to have been Captain Rnssell 2341, Mr Fraeer 1486 ; informal 47 ; total number of votes polled 3874. Tbe complete returns for Clutha are :— Thomson 1990, Edle 1089, Ayaon 415, Blair 203. Auckland, Sunday. Electlcn returns:— At Watkalo Mr Lang's majority was 1013; he polled about 1800 votes. Maredea : Thompson 1716, Manson 1314 : some small returns to oome 10, bnt cannot affeob the result. Bay of Plenty : A telegram has been received giving Herries 1586, Kelly 1443 ; some returns yet to come, but the result will be unßffeoted, B*\y ot Islands : Houston 1553, Press 996 { a few small returns to come, Franklin : Massey 2173, Harris 1690.
