Messrs Alfred Buokland and Sons report that at the Remuera yards on Thursday dairy cows at profit were of variable quality, and prices ranged from £1 15s to £6 10s each ; dry cows were In request at full values, up to £3 each, but young cattle showed no improvement in value ; young and fat calves were in usual supply and the 48 sold were in better inquiry than last week. Fat cattle were in average supply, and the 200 yarded were better worth ; heavy weights were at £118, light weights up to £1 3a per 1001 b. Sheep were In moderate supply, and 917 yarded were sold irregularly, but on the whole were better worth, from Is to 2s each, and were lowest at conclusion of the Bale. Spring lambs were in larger supply than hitherto, and 50 were sold and brought from 7s to 12s each. Pigs wore in moderate supply, the 40 sold fully kept late values.
