Sydney, Thursday. At a meeting of tbe Cabinet tbia afternoon the following ten appointments were made to the Legislative Council :— Meun Baokhoaie, Blankaby, Ketbel, Leea, D. O'Connor, Palaford, Hnghes, Callen, Jago-Smlth, and Fowler, The Farmers' Conference) with two dissentient*, carried a resolution disapproving of the removal of the grain dadea and the imposition of the land tax
