SHEEP DRENCHES.

Sir,'— Mr H. Cimpbell, of EoclMeigh, by his losti letter to the Hawkes BAY Herald, showa ulreidy that he hos lost his temper. Instead of injuiog the poiat at issae, and replying to ray questions, he has descended to psrsonal abase and language not very choice and truthful. I cannot believe from my knowledge of the gentleman that such an answer emanated from hu owa brain, lie must have baen prompted by some stupid person who has mistaken Ignorance for scholastic learning, and tmagiaea that he la a very clever tcholur. . The writer charges me with championing a nostrum. It is no snch thiog. Thu preparations are made by propsrly qualified gentlemen, who hive a lot oi doonmuntary evidence to prove they are no " qaacks,"— I am, &a., w. Douglas. Te Mahan«o, July 2G, 1895.
