Invercarciili,, Wednesday, The trial of Minnie Dean was contlnned to-day. The question of the admiselbility ol evidence of the murder of Eva Hornsby was brought np by Mr Hanlon (for tbe BCCOBed).
Mr Justice Williams said be had no doubii such evidence was admissible, but he noted Mr Hanlon's objection, in order that) he might if he chose bring the matter under the notice of tbe Attorney- General, as provided by sub-section 1 of section 413 of the Criminal Code.
The taking of tbe evidence proceeded, and It was practically Gnished, bnt It is possible the Crown will leave the evidence in connection with tbe skeleton of tho child found in the Larches garden. Nothing new was elicited.
