The Chamber of Commerce has decided to recommend the insertion of a clause in bills of lading attaching a penalty for delay in discharging cargoes Id London after a fortnight from the date of arriral. Thla Is in consequence of complaints and great damage occa?hne4 to the Australian trade by persistent delay in discharging cargoes.
