■ Sydney, Sunday. A tragedy is reported from Camperdown, a western suburb of Sydney, Ezra Abrahams, a Jewish lolly vendor and a married man wlbh a family, became infatuated with Miss Goode ere. He pestered her with his attentions, but she refused all advances. Theconple met In the Btreet this afternoon, and sbe endeavored to avoid Abrahams, who drew a revolver and fired three shots at her, tho bullets lodging in her arms and back. The ruffl _n then fired two shots into his own abdomen. Abrahams Is in a critical condition, bnb the girl, though saiiously wounded, is likely to recover. Three more of the aboriginals at Mount.fern who drank the decoction supplied to them by a man named Kelly in mistake for rum have succumbed, making five victims in all. Ab the inquest Kelly gave evidence that he nbbaiued the bottle from a certain shop. He was intoxicated at the time, and believing the contents to be rum drank some himself and gave the blacks a drink. He him_elf suffered severely from what he had drunk.
