NEW SOUTH WALES.
Sydney, Friday. News has been received that the extensive railway engine sheds at Harden, on the Great Southern railway line, 228 miles from Sydney, are on fire. Several engines are in the building, and the damage is certain to be heavy. Replying to a question pat by Sir O. R. Dlbbs, the Premier declined to say whether the Government intended to abandon the measure providing for an increase of Mr Eddy'a salary. The Government, he said, were at present engaged on matters of Infinitely more importance,
