Sholeaves for Claborne, ooasfc stations, and Auckland at * Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's cargo steamer Mamarl left London for Auckland and Southern ports on the 28th May. The dispute re schooner Orpheus has been adjusted by Captain Smith surrendering the schooner to Captain Christiansen, representative of the Auckland owners, yesterday. The schooner was brought alongside the wharf and commenced to^oad bctop iron for DuneThe 3.5. Moa is working her way along tho coast from AUokland, and will arrivo hero either on Sunday or Monday next. The barquentlne Kate Tatham arrived in the bay yesterday, and was towed in to her berth at the breastwork by the s.s. Ahuriri. She brings a full cargo of coal and hardwood timber for her owners, Messrs Tait and Mills. Since last here the s.s. AustraUahas paid a lengthened visit to the slip in Wellington, -where she has received a thorough overhaul. Her saloon and deckhouse have been painted and grained in a most artistio manner, and her upholstery and fittings goneraUy renovated and re-decorated. She is now without donbt the most comfortable passenger boat of her tonnage in New Zealand waters, and ■with her popular skipper, Captain Gibb, well worthy of the high esteem in which they are held bY travellers on the East Coasti The B.sTßOtomahana was to leave Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday, and la due early this morning. The s.B. Ahuriri takes off outward passengers for the North and Sydney at S P The S.S. Anglian is also due from Southern ports this forenoons The s.B. Weka will take off the outward passengers at i p.m.
