Acceptances for handicaps and Entries for other ovents (accompanied by fees and colors or taitana) to be in the handsof the Secretary, at the Mosonio Hotel, Napier, by 9 p.m. on THURSDAY , 21th January, 1895. Nominations for handicap events must be accompanied by colors and a record of previous performances. Any competitor found guilty ot Bending in false Performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall ba disqualified. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either belore or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his description of his Performances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to moke the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prizo. The particular attention ot competitors ia drawn to the following Role:— "Every competitor must wear complete olothingfrom the shoulders to tho knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking port in the Sports. In cose of disputes all protests must be made in writing and handed to the Pcorotary within 15 minutes after the event, accompanied by a deposit of ss, which shall be forfeited if the protest is found to be frivolous or vexatious. The decision of the Judges shall be flnal in every case. Evonts will be decided strictly in accord - anoe with the Sooioty's Rules and Conditions of Competition. The N.Z.
