tilct. The Mnglng of Mr Axel Newton, Miss Amy Gonrlay, Mr William Gourlay, and Mr Morion Prior was of excepli/jna! merit, and the skirt dancing of Miss Gourlay extremely clever and graceful. Mr Gouriay's corkscrew dance was wonderful above all expecta-

tlons, and quite brought down the house. Roars of laughter were occasioned by a pttomimic ecenie effort "Tho Chemist's Shop," which drove tbe audience trantic with meriiment, and " That Awful Girl," compo-ed by Mr Gourlay himself, and described as a " wbimsicil farcical comedietta," caused much amusement. " Li6tec to My Tale of Woe," a comical lament about " Little Johnnie Brown and his sister Sue, who stole a peach of emerald hue," was ono of the gems of the evening. The Incidental music was bright and criep and new, a faeb which contributed greatly to make tho entertainmant the saccess ib proved.
