Friday, January 18. (Before Mr Sandford, S.M.) BBBACH OF STOCK ACT. E. J. Whibley was charged on January 4th, 1895, with offering for sale at Stortf jrd Lodge abont sheep affected with Hoe. Defendant said that he alwaya-dlps-hls Bheep once a year, every February, an,d was not aware that tbey were affected. Fined 10j, co^ta of Court 7a, Inspector's expenses 5s 4d ; CIVIL CASES. Judgment waa given in the following cases :— JR. Vanghan v. Ihnrift Temopo, claim £4 18s, coats £2. Barnett and Co. y.. Thomas Campbell, claim fill Is. lid; judgment for plaintiff with 103 costs ; John Horimßeour v. Tirlka Tuatua £23 15.3, judgment for plaintiff and £8 for expenses ; costs £1 11s ; solicitor's fee £1 U. B. L. Knight v. Thos. Euter, claim £9 14s Sd ; costs 10a, George Dewsnap v. Otene Mehana,, claim £1 8s ; costs 9j ; Interpreter (Mr Lelbh Fraser) 10s 6d. Same v. Eerlama, claim £2 10s; costs 93. J. Fettle v. Alfred Thorbarn, claim £4 153 119; costs 6°. A, F. Gordon v. S. T. Nortbe, claim far £100 damages for personal injury received In a collision with the defendant's cart, owing to no lights being carried, and the horse and cart) being driven on the wrong Bide of the road. After considerable evidence had been taken, tbe case was adjourned to Napier at 10 o'clock to-morrow (Saturday) morning, when counsel will address tbe Court.
