FIJI CRICKET TEAM.
AtrtJKLAND, Friday. Owing to the seVore hurricane Which haa swept over JFijl, .the island's btlokeb team's tour in New Zealand waa at first abandoned, bad on farther consideration, and when it was f,ound that the damage was not so serious as at first expected! the cricketers determined to carry ont their engagements. The Fiji Times of the 12th says the team proposes to leave Suva for Auckland in the Tavinnl on Wednesday next. His Excellency is, however, unable to allow the Hon. W. h. Allardyce to accompany the team, his datles as Native Commissioner inevitably precluding his absences at present from the colony. The team will consist of the same Individuals as alrendy mentioned, wlah the exception of Mr Allardyce, making 13 In all.
