Hebald Office, Thursday evening, Dalgety and Company, Limited, havo received the following cablegram from their London office : — " Wool sales opened with large attendance of buyers. Competition not animated. Indifferent selection. No Riverinas offered. Prices are on the averago at par to 5 per cent lower than closing rates of last Beries, particularly inferior and faulty wools. Total available, Inoludlng old stocks, 258,000 bales."
