The Rnahtne's batter brought 95s to 100 a, and the choicest qnallty np to 102s. The cheeae, which arrived in excellent condition, bronght 44a to 48a.
The total quantity of wool which has arrived np to date ia 237,600 bales, of which 44,000 balea have been sent forward direct to the manufacturing dietrictp. With the quantity left over from the laat tones there will be 256,000 balea available for tbe present series.
The total qnanlity of wheat and flour ofloit for the United Kingdom ia 3,220,000 quarters, and for the Continent 810,000 quarters. The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 111,700,000 bushelc The St. Jama's Gazette suggest* that Lord Braasey aspired to the control of the Admiralty, and ia being lent to Victoria to avoid his voting against the Government. The Pall Mall Gazette thinks Lord Brassey'e special knowledge on the question* of Federation and Imperial defenco will be of beneat to all Australia. Lord Randolph Chnrohlll is much weaker.
