LUNG AND TAPE WORMS.

Sir,— Lambs are at this season of the year sometimes troubled with cough and worms, a disease whose character is sufficiently attested by the post mortem examination of its victims revea'ing the presence of an immense number of small worms in the windpipe nnd bronchial tubes of the lungs, so that wo cannot wonder at the gradual pining n\Vay which results, or the fatal lesult which often follows this affection if allowed to go unchecked. Not only is tho body deprived oi its nourishment by these innumerable parasites, but the proper changes of the blood are retarded or prevented from being accomplished in the lunps. Any medicine given to destroy worms in the air passages acts by being absorbed into the system. In the case of worms in the lungs two objects should be Bought for — one, to destroy the enemy, and the other, to strengthen and support the system which is being subjeoted to such debilitating and exhausting influences. I have used several remedies, and helped others use different medicines, and nave used one with the very best results, it being death to all worms and parasites affecting the system of many domestic animals.— l am, XC, E. W. R. Bousfield, Rosemount, April 25, 1892. [Wo have struck out part of this letter, as it was simply a recommendation of a particular medicine which could only be inserted as on advertisement, — Ed. 11.8. H.)
