This reached Messrs Klrkpatriok and 00., of Nelson, and they went to work in a very practical fashion to prove that the jams manufactured by tho firm wore of tho boat quality. Two casos of assorted jams wero sent to this olHoo, with a request that we would thoroughly test tho jam along with other brands, and give our opinion. We are happy to state, frankly and fully, that wo havo been very much snrprise'l, as prior to the receipt of Meaarß Klrkpatrick'a gift we wore unaware that New Zealand could boast of an industry or which it has so much reason to bo proud.
