Australia leaves Auokland this evening for Southern ports. Tho s.s. Suva is to loavo Wellington tonight, and is due hero tomorrow afternoon. The s.B. Result is now waiting a favorable opportunity to get away for Waikare with a cargo of station stores. The topsail sohoonov Dunedin arrived at Timaru on Sunday, and is now on the berth for this port, Whon the weather on the coast is reported good tho B.S. Bella will mako a special run down to the wreok of the s.s. Go-ahead to see if she can recover tho latter's boilor. Tie brigantine Enterprise will bo leaving Danedin to-morrow for this port with a full cargo of breadstuff, &c. On account of tho bad weather yesterday And tho breastwork being in such a bad stnto the 9.a. Ahuriri did not rtischargo tho Rotomahana's cai-go from Southern ports. Tho flshiug smacks havo been detained in port the last week or so on account of tho bad weather. ' - The Ashleigli Brook is now rcatly to take In the balance of her cargo of frozen mutton, and the s.s. Woka was expected to mako a. start last evening. H.M.S. Underwood nnd Iris arc to bo stationed in Australian waters. H.M.S. Orlando, which relioves tho Nelson, will bring, two torpedo boats with her. At tho Sandwich Isl*nd3 tho lighthouses aro built of coral, which it is stated stands the bad weather admirably.
