return last evening. • Captain Phillips, o* the ship Zoalandia. has received instructions to proceed on to Port 'Chalmers to load, and will sail for that port first opportunity. • The Ashleigh Brook is still detained. She ■will not get away until this afternoon. ■ The brigantino Enterprise is now loading up old iron, and will get aivay for Dunedin tomorrow. On arrival she will he placed on tho loerth for this port. The s.B. Australia is to leave Wellington- . this afternoon for northern ports. - The schooner Julia Price hasbeen chartered to take a cargo of posts to Gisborne, and will commence loading to-day. The Wallabl steamed for Gisborne- last evening, taking a good cargo of posts. Strainers, &c She returns with a full load of Wool for the ship Crusader. Messrs Kinross and Co.'s new steamer Ahuriri was taken out on Saturday afternoon '/orarunjfound tho Wellington harbor, when she covered 9} to 10 knots pev hour. Her ■ final trial trip comes off today, when it. is expected to see her ateain from 10 to 11. Messrs '~ Cable and Co., her builders, are highly pleased -with her steaming.
